Neutral Salt Spray Testing is an accelerated corrosion assessment method using an artificial atmosphere. During the test, samples are placed in the chamber for a period of time, and their surface changes are observed to evaluate their corrosion resistance. The salt concentration in the salt spray environment of the NSS test is several to several tens of times higher than that in natural environments, significantly increasing the corrosion rate and greatly reducing the test time to quickly obtain results.
